Pennsylvania State University produced the most recent of several studies on the health benefits of avocados with a direct focus on the seed. Most people throw the seed and the skin of the avocado away and eat the fleshy part for its incredible health value, not to mention the taste. But research now shows that the seed packs even more benefits, as 70% of the total antioxidant capability is in the seed itself.
